Due to new advertising rules, even native ads have to specify whether they’ve been promoted by a certain brand. Unlike sponsored content, native ads are less salesy and more about entertaining and informing, even if they do reference the brand a couple of times throughout.

Banner and display ads are still incredibly effective when advertising brands online, and with more options available to businesses, consumers can enjoy, and be enticed by, a more visual experience.
